This page was a very ambitious page, took me ages to finish. So much emotional weight behind it all. One thing I struggled to make feel right is my own phobia of being barked at, to freeze in the moment and feel that dread. Also, very delicate how to convey Nelly just not being emotionally there, just raw disdain for Astrid’s distress, since to her, having parents to hate at all is way better than non at all. Not to mention the touchy subject of adoption with Nelly in the room.

So, answer me this, Who is behaving worse in this situation, Astrid or Nelly?
