923 – Fleshy parts
Baker Notes
Hello my cookies!
Yup, like any craft, it has its limitations. Since Luna never really got any direction with what she can do, she is stuck to the basics or simply experience being… well… her. Luna’s clothes are PART of her morphing, she doesn’t CREATE clothes, they ARE her.
So, answer me this, How much does this disturb you?
It’s not disturbing I kind of suspected though kind of like plastic Man
I vote that they should get her actual clothes so she doesn’t have to do…that…. O_O
Seconded
I never really understood why Luna is doing this whole cover up in the first place. The old guy they needed was murdered by a dreamy. Then Luna pretended to be him rather than just sneaking out. Now she seems committed to this deception for no reason I can see.
I suspected she is doing that and I didn’t think much about it, but thinking about it is a little disturbing. And the more you think, more disturbing it gets.
It’s only disturbing from a specific perspective, else it’s like scales: top layer comes off anyway, no reason not to paint it the colors of mana. Still supports the idea that she needs a proper wardrobe.
Now, new question! Who here has gotten on to their dog/cat/ferret/etc. for failing to get dressed? Who fails to see the relevance to the previous question?
Poor Luna, she looks really stressed out in the last panel. I mean, it’s not really that bothering. And when you think about it, it makes sense when you consider that Luna changes forms quickly and is usually wearing clothes when she changes to another form. I didn’t think of it as some sort of Sailor Moon type of Transformation, so the clothes had to come from SOMEWHERE. The only way they could be possible is: Illusionary, Conjuration, Creation or Transformation magic.
