Baker Notes

Hello my cookies!

I’m starting to see how these two work very well together, they are kinda of a good cop, bad cop kinda dynamic. Unlike When Hos is with Nelly, his function is to keep her chill. When he’s with Astrid, he does not try to ease her in, for Astrid uses fear as a tactic, he just tries his more amiable angle if hers does not work. Regardless, if things resort to punches, he’s pretty much useless then.

So, answer me this, Who do you prefer on your side, a menacing agent or a persuasive sweet talker?

Hi Baker! Was reading the comics from the start and couldn’t help but notice that pages 308 and 662 do not have their right images and page 816 is duplicated. Just passing to let you know!

  :hos:

Now… to answer your question: I would prefer a menacing agent, I think I can handle being the sweet talker

You’re not you when your hangry- try a snickers!

Me, I’d want a robot. 🙂

Ryuu is one of the only ones fearless enough to smart mouth a Dreamie, can’t suffer physically if your are already unalive. Ooof, Astrid not even a few hours after learning the Matriarch is a traitor and the Queen is a Royale… Megitsune, Ryuu throws her kinds servility into her face. Thankfully Pervy is none too thrilled about that and incentivizes Ryuu to speak.
Smooth Talker – You’re bound to attract a lot more with Honey than Vinegar.

For a lifetime spent in service to a cult, having that dedication belittled in such a way? Ryuu’s lucky he’s already deceased. As for which I prefer on my side, I defer back to ‘The Untouchables’: “You can get more with a kind word and a gun than a kind word alone.”

The Top Web Comics (TWC) website still takes us to the old website, so something at TWC probably needs to be updated for the new website address.
