Hello my cookies!
I think I went a little overboard with the DARK knowledge of Astrid panel. As a Dreamie, she is familiar with the old ways of her people, she could be a little more self aware that what she is describing is VERY morbid and her tone is not giving the vibes you might think they do. Dear Astrid, MOST people flinch at the potential of BOILS.
I’d say I like how she’s mostly stoic and devoted
Wiggly Fingies Curse?! You eevul Feend!!! Ah yes, Hos forgot about the Evil Magnate Weasel, who is not known for his Patience. Although, weren’t they just heading to a party? Why is he getting all upset? Doesn’t he know that everyone who is anyone, arrives Fashionably Late? And Hos is nothing if not Fashionable.
Her straightforwardness. And her desire to help her colleagues/friends. Also her Calm, cool and almost Mystical air.
That first panel gives such a stark contrast with her normal look that it’s a good reminder that she has esoteric knowledge.
As for Astrid, what I love most is how much untapped potential she has – we know so little about her and Klaus and her time with the Dreamies, that anything could be possible. Her holding trial on that other Dreamie was awesome! Though I’d still say her at her best was when she was overcome with ‘The Happy’ over learning about Pituka.
